We are seeking a reliable, organised, and dedicated Site Manager to support the day‑to‑day upkeep and smooth running of our parish buildings, including the church, parish house, hall, and social centre. This is an important role at the heart of our community—helping ensure our spaces remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for parishioners, visitors, and community groups.

Key Responsibilities
As our Site Manager, you will:
- Oversee the cleaning and general maintenance of the church and social centre, ensuring high standards at all times.
- Monitor toilet facilities and manage cleaning supplies, working within an agreed budget.
- Advise on the provision and upkeep of CCTV across parish premises.
- Check the condition of the social centre after external bookings and ensure it is ready for future use.
- Respond promptly to equipment or facility issues (lighting, heating, sound system, etc.), coordinating with approved contractors where necessary.
- Keep all entrances clean, safe, and free from obstructions.
- Take responsibility for fire safety procedures and general health and safety across the site.
- Identify and report any security concerns to the Parish Priest, contacting emergency services if needed.

Essential Skills & Attributes
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a small volunteer-based team.
- Willingness to undertake Health & Safety training.
- Ability to relate well to a wide range of people.
Desirable
- Previous caretaking or building maintenance experience.
- Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours.
- Basic computer literacy.
Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
