Main purpose and scope of the job
- Providing high quality support service to clients and professionals in the Southampton area. This will include taking referrals, contacting clients and identifying risk and needs.
- Taking referrals and contacting clients, conducting risk assessments and a holistic needs assessment, uploading information, including demographic details, to our secure case management system and identifying the most suitable service for each individual.
- Using assertive engagement techniques and address concerns of people referred to maximise take up of the support services.
- Providing immediate safety advice and emotional support when necessary.
- Securing refuge accommodation for women and children contacting SDA.
