What will a day in the life of a Shop Manager involve?
- Lead and inspire a team of staff and volunteers, creating a welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
- Drive sales, meet targets and identify new opportunities to maximise income and support the British Red Cross.
- Create an inviting shop floor with eye-catching displays, well-presented stock and an excellent customer experience.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the shop, including stock, cash handling, compliance and operational processes.
- Build strong connections within the local community, championing the British Red Cross and the difference we make every day.
- Experience leading a retail team, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others to achieve their best.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
- Commercial awareness and confidence using sales data to drive performance and meet targets.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep shop operations running smoothly.
- Enthusiasm for the British Red Cross mission, with the confidence to build relationships and engage with the local community.
