The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We deliver essential local services that provide safe, trusted support to children and young people during times of significant need.

This role sits within our Retail Domain. Your role will be to raise funds to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country

We are currently looking for an experienced retailer to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The required skills and competencies for this role are:

  • Manage a paid and volunteer team
  • Engage with the public to support donations and volunteering opportunites, offering excellent customer service
  • Have high standards of stock handling process and visual merchandising

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies

  • An ability to use simple Epos and back office systems
  • Team leadership skills, and flexible dynamic work ethic
  • Creative and curious mindset
