- Job Summary
• Maintain a security presence by foot patrols, C.C.T.V vigilance, staffing of security office issuing security keys & passes.
• You’ll provide a security presence in order to safeguard our visitors, staff, the collections and property of National Museum Cardiff
• You’ll ensure the safety and welfare of our visitors and colleagues
Key Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team to provide a highly efficient and effective security presence contributing to 24/7 security of site & collections.
• You’ll undertake portering duties, moving artefacts, equipment and other materials as required, having regard to health and safety rules and the care of the materials.
• You’ll ensure compliance with health and safety to visitors, contractors and staff on the site
• You’ll acquire a full working knowledge of safety and security procedures, be generally vigilant whilst on duty, and undertake specific duties in those areas as required on a regular basis as part of a working rota.
