We are currently looking for a sessional shop assistant to cover one of our regional shops when needed. We need someone who loves working with people and has the ability to manage the shop alongside volunteers in the absence of the shop manager.
The hours needed will differ from week to week dependent on what is required. Hours are negotiable. It is important that you have good communication skills and can work on your own initiative. Travel will be required to reach the shops and if you have access to transport, 45p per mile can be claimed above your usual travel to your base shop.
The Children’s Society runs over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need our support, and we campaign to get laws and policies changed to make children’s lives happier and safer.
Every day we’re changing the lives of children in this country for the better – and with your help, tomorrow we can be there for even more.
