Location: Shipley

Zero hours sessional contract to cover a shop for holiday, sickness and additional support as and when needed.

The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We deliver essential local services that provide safe, trusted support to children and young people during times of significant need.

We are currently looking for an experienced person to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to serve customers, sort and process stock engage with the paid and volunteer team

The required skills and competencies for this role are,

  • to be able to meet and greet our amazing donors, customers and team members
  • Use a till and process transactions
  • Highlight and process good value items
  • Understand the gift aid process

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies

  • Eye for detail and presentation
  • Working in a diverse environment
