Description

Are you a qualified counsellor who is passionate about supporting children and young people? We are offering a sessional role with flexible hours (minimum of 5 sessions per week) based in a secondary school in Mid Essex.

Mid and North East Essex (MNEE) Mind have been allocated funding from a local business based in Mid Essex, and as a result an exciting new opportunity has become available for a qualified counsellor to support the mental health of children and young persons in the local area. We are delighted to be working in partnership with a school located in Mid Essex to deliver face to face counselling session to young people in need.

MNEE Mind will be collaboratively working with the school to ensure a robust referral process and you will be working closely with the Well-being Team based at the school. Additionally, you will receive support from the Counselling Manager at MNEE Mind to ensure you are working within the ethical framework of your registered body.

We are a local charity, working within the local area who believes no one should face a mental health problem alone. “Our mission is to support and empower people experiencing an emotional or mental health condition by building on their personal hopes and aspirations. This is achieved by identifying and responding to community needs in order to deliver an effective and efficient system or community base services.”
