Service Manager 4ME Day Activity Service

Are you a dynamic leader passionate about making a real difference? Reading Mencap is looking for an inspiring Manager to lead our 4ME Day Activity Service.

This is an exciting role for someone who thrives on leading a dedicated team and ensuring adults with learning disabilities receive the highest quality support.

Our Day Activity Service provides a vibrant and supportive environment for adults with learning disabilities. Running Monday to Friday, we pride ourselves on offering a varied and engaging range of daytime activities tailored to the interests of our members.

As the Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations while building strong, trusting relationships with our members, their families and carers, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the 4ME Day Activity Service ensuring we deliver exceptional support and achieve positive outcomes
• Take a lead in assessing individual support needs and develop tailored support plans
• Lead a small, close-knit team, providing regular supervision and ongoing professional support

We are looking for someone adaptable, empathetic, and an excellent communicator. You should be committed to providing exceptional care and enjoy working collaboratively.

Ideally, you will have experience of working with people with learning disabilities and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
