Westbank Community Health and Care is looking for a Service Development Manager to help drive the growth and sustainability of our health, wellbeing and carer services.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding services that genuinely improve people’s lives, working at the heart of a values-led, community-focused organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying and developing new opportunities for funded services
- Leading on tenders, funding bids and business proposals
- Building strong partnerships with the NHS, local authorities and community organisations
- Developing innovative service models and income-generating ideas
- Supporting the growth and performance of existing contracts
- Analysing trends, policy and local needs to shape future services

What we’re looking for
- Experience in service development, commissioning, or contract management within health, social care or the voluntary sector
- Experience writing successful bids, tenders or funding applications
- Strong understanding of the wider VCSE landscape
- Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative approach
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to spot trends and opportunities
Desirable:
- Experience in the voluntary or community sector
- Experience developing new or innovative service models
- Understanding of social value or impact measurement
