Runnymede Family Centre are seeking a full-time administrator.
The successful candidate will work as part of our Surrey Family Centre admin team but will be primarily based at Runnymede Family Centre. The centre is currently based in Egham and due to move to a permanent base in New Haw in May/June 2026. The role will include some travel across the Runnymede District and other localities in Surrey when needed.
Runnymede Family centre provides holistic family support for young people and families in the Runnymede district of Surrey, helping to give children the best start in life. There are a range of services on offer at the centre for families to get the support they need at the earliest opportunity to provide a healthy, nurturing, stable environment for their children including targeted 1:1 family support, facilitation of activity sessions and parenting courses.
We provide support in the following areas:
- Parenting
- Safeguarding
- Early help
- Promoting well-being
- Partnership and signposting
The administrator role will be pivotal in supporting the day to day running of a busy office. Tasks include, but are not limited to, answering telephone calls, welcoming visitors to the service, managing diaries and event bookings, preparing audit information and reports, monitoring income and expenditure and processing invoices.
As well as providing a high level of administration support to the service, we are looking for someone with experience in:
- Financial Administration- Income and expenditure monitoring and reporting; invoice coding and processing.
- Practical skills in MS Office suite of applications:this includes, but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics 365.
- Premises and Facilities Management- Responding to visits, telephone calls and emails; assisting Managers with Health & Safety. Although the service is currently using rooms within another service, ultimately the aspiration is to have access to a dedicated premises, and at this time liaise with Properties for any repairs and maintenance to buildings;
- Service User Records Administration- for example maintaining booking lists for parenting courses.
- Marketing and promoting service activities-through the creation of marketing materials such as leaflets, posters, flyers and through social media channels as required.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
