As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our Highgate Hospital, you hold the relevant qualifications and experience and are registered with either the NMC or HCPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and considerable post-registration experience. You will be focused, flexible and a motivated team worker.
As a Senior Scrub (Nurse/ODP), you will:
- Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
- Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures)
- Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health’s Quality governance framework and national standards.
- Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
- Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading.

We employ more than 100 hospital staff, including highly experienced nurses. All of our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
