We're looking for a caring, resilient and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Ash Grove in Evesham.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring customers receive high-quality, person-centred support.

You will work closely with the management team to promote independence, choice and inclusion while helping to maintain a safe, compliant and effective service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deputising for the Service Manager when required
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the service
  • Acting as a positive role model and supporting colleagues on shift
  • Building strong relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting customers to achieve their goals and access meaningful activities
  • Organising events, activities and community outings
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and health and social care regulations
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, audits and record management
  • Assisting with staff training, supervision and development

This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

About You

  • At least two years' experience working in the care sector is preferred
  • Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable
  • Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy or Supervisory role is advantageous
  • A caring, compassionate and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to remain flexible and adapt under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence in completing audits and maintaining records
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support
