Senior Safety and Security Project Manager
Senior Safety and Security Project Manager
The Premier League is recruiting for a project manager, working with the organisation’s Safety and Security operations team. You will oversee projects focused on fan safety and experience, such as stewarding reform, matchday reporting, antisocial behaviour response, inclusivity initiatives, and implementing the Premier League’s Major Incident Plan. You will also coordinate stakeholder events and manage logistics and agendas. Professional experience working in the safety and security sector or environment would be ideal, as would experience of liaison with safety and security stakeholders.
The Premier League’s Safety, Security and Operations team sits within the Policy and Social Impact department, leading the Premier League’s policy positions on matchday safety, security and service; the management of matchday risks and incidents; counterterrorism; stewarding reform; development of standards to drive safety and security improvements; crisis management of safety and security issues; and the Premier League’s relationships with national policing and public safety bodies. It is a small team with a broad remit and a collaborative approach.
This is often an externally-facing role, reporting to the Head of Stadium Safety and Operations and with the ability to build strong relationships with senior football club counterparts and across external partners. We will support you in taking ownership of a portfolio of projects and relationships and welcome your ideas and challenges to our framework of operational support to our clubs.
