The Vacancy

As our Senior Regional Delivery Manager Contracted Delivery you will lead of a team of Surveyors and admin staff in effectively maximising all aspects of business performance for the delivery of our repairs and maintenance contracted works via external contractors.

You’ll be ensuring financial, service level agreements and KPI objectives and targets are delivery through a fully engaged workforce. You will be seen as the subject matter experts for all regions, being the escalation point for the wider business.
 

You will support the Assistant Director and will deputise for them and will have the autonomy to make strategic and operational decisions.

The role will see you -

  • Be accountable for the creation and delivery of the strategy to fulfil the contracted delivery service
  • Being the subject matter expert for this area of delivery and provide SME knowledge and support for all property services, and the wider business. This will also include being the SE for the business reference transformation programs that require specific SME knowledge and guidance
  • Creating a best in class service offering, that is truly effortless for all of our customers both internal and external.
  • Providing a contracted fulfilment R&M service that the inhouse trades team cannot fulfil, ensuring that it is carried out to a high quality standard that meets regulatory targets and is completed within all financial and performance related service level agreements and KPI’s
  • Lead by example on all Aster values and behaviours and coaching and developing a high performing team that can deliver and implement the strategic direction and objectives for the service, including financial planning, risk, and performance monitoring.
  • Managing the budget of circa £5m but also to input into the Property Services wider budget of £15m, including producing reports that show cost of contracted works service via contractors, that includes value for money, productivity and utilisation of the inhouse workforce

About you

You will come to the role having held a similar position of a senior manager/Head of Service within the Property Services umbrella of associated works.

You will likely hold a CIH Level 5 qualification or be working towards it.

You’ll be professionally qualified in a construction or building related discipline and/or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience.

You will have significant senior experience of managing a large social housing asset portfolio and/or working in a regulated compliance section in a management role.

You will consider contract management to be a strength and will have a proven commercial/financial track record.

You’ll be experienced in proactively leading and managing large multi-disciplined teams, with the ability to motivate and coach to inspire teams to highly perform.

The role will require travel within our operating region so you will hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
