Company Description
Unlike most UK cities the majority of Milton Keynes’ parks, lakes and landscapes are cared for by an independent charity - The Parks Trust, who manage over 6,000 acres of beautiful green spaces.
More than 100 full and part-time employees and 240 volunteers deliver its essential work, from landscape maintenance and nature services to the provision of valuable recreation and leisure facilities. The Parks Trust connects communities at over 500 outdoor events and advances public education around wildlife, biodiversity and the environment.
Position
Location: Campbell Park Pavilion, 1300 Silbury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 4AD
Salary: £55,000.00 - £58,000.00 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Flexibility: We understand the need to balance life and commitments in and out of work and will support flexibility wherever it is practical to do so.
Requirements
Objectives:
- To ensure the Trust’s Property Portfolio is professionally managed providing a sound commercial investment for the Trust.
- To ensure operational and commercial property assets are well presented and maintained.
- To actively manage the Trust’s portfolio to drive value.
- To build relationships with tenants promoting a partnership approach.
Essential
- Experienceinproperty and asset management.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Ahighdegreeofcustomerservicecommitmentandexperience.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of an integrated team.
- Willingness for both a flexible and hands on approach to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Commitment to keepuptodate with legislative updates and regulatory compliance.
Desirable
- Appropriate professional qualification (RICS preferred).
- Knowledge of Milton Keynes.
- Experience of complex assets and projects (e.g. multi let, mixed use assets, refurbishments, negotiations, acquisitions & disposals).
