The vacancy

About the role
As a Senior Programme Officer – Staff Standards, you will: 

  • Lead communications and engagement to drive awareness and uptake of the NHS Staff Standards.
  • Develop and maintain practical tools, guidance and resources to support employers.
  • Gather insight and feedback to shape and continuously improve programme delivery.
  • Design and deliver webinars, events and implementation support for NHS organisations.
  • Identify and share good practice to support consistent, sustainable approaches across the system.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to national policy and workforce conversations.

About you
We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Understand NHS workforce challenges and are passionate about improving staff experience.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Have experience supporting programmes or projects and tracking progress.
  • Communicate clearly and produce strong written outputs.
  • Build effective relationships and work confidently with a range of stakeholders.
