Location: This role is hybrid, working from home and our office based in London Bridge All staff work a minimum of one day a month from our office but exact working patters will be agreed with your line manager. This role will also need to attend specific events throughout the year which are outside of standard working hours, good notice will be provided and time-off-in-lieu given.
Job Purpose
This crucial role is responsible for delivering our programme of events throughout the year and producing feedback and impact reports to attendees and supporters and stewarding key relationships as agreed.
You will have a key focus on delivering engaging and high-impact events and programmes for our philanthropy audience – these events could include large-scale carol concerts, receptions, art auctions, private dinners and gala dinners. Supporting with other events, such as our annual Get Lippy launch event, focussed on beauty brands and influencers, will also fall under your remit.
This role will be responsible for working alongside donors to deliver events that meet their needs and expectations and drive substantial income for the charity. You will have responsibility for all event planning and logistics (working with external suppliers for delivery) across event design, marketing, venue hire, speaker briefing, RSVP tracking, theming, catering, entertainment etc. You will, of course, have the support of the wider Eve team and external suppliers to deliver this.
Alongside event delivery you will also work directly on communications with supporters to demonstrate the impact of their attendance/participation with events and our wider philanthropy programme. This will entail building strong relationships with key internal staff as well as our research teams.
No formal qualifications are needed for this role, and charity sector experience is not essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Event and Project Management
Deliver our programme of events to agreed standards and budgets – working across all aspects of planning and delivery
Ensure robust project plans are in place, key stakeholders are kept informed and work is delivered on time and to expected standards
Work alongside key donors, Director of Fundraising & Philanthropy and other relevant stakeholders to steer the programme and proactively suggest events and new approaches to engage our defined audiences and reach objectives
Regularly monitor and review progress against plan and proactively recommended changes to keep the programme on track
Attend all events and be a key point of contact for logistics during them
Relationship Management
Build meaningful relationships with specific key donors as agreed
Develop close working relationships with suppliers and venues to assist smooth event delivery
Develop strong relationships with key internal teams and our researchers
Impact Reporting
Work with the Director of Fundraising & Philanthropy to develop solid impact reporting for all agreed donors and event attendees – to include written reports, email updates and 1:1 meetings
Finance and Reporting
Regularly review performance of event ticket sales, revenue and expenditure and report back on insight gleaned and necessary recommendations
Update relevant reporting dashboards as agreed
Monitor and report on specific event marketing and income budgets
Routinely review and evaluate activity you have delivered and work with the relevant staff to produce regular de-briefs/reports with tangible learnings and recommendations
Database
Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of supporter data and information onto our database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) as required
Run basic queries and exports of supporter and event data
Other
Adhere to, and champion, all ways of working within the fundraising team including incorporating a data-led mind-set, a test and learn approach and collaborative working across the team and wider organisation
Develop strong working relationships across teams, and especially with communications and service delivery teams
Regularly review opportunities for the programme and work with the Director of Fundraising to scope/test/implement new ideas as relevant

Person Specification
Essential
Experience of delivering high-value, income-generating, events to agreed standard and budgets
Strong written skills with the ability to convert complex information into accessible, compelling, language
• Strong relationship building skills across internal teams and external stakeholders
• The ability to interrogate data, glean insight and present findings clearly
• An understanding of event marketing and sales
Strong project management experience
• Ability to support in setting, and monitoring, overall plans and budgets
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail

Strong Microsoft Office skills
Desirable
• Previous experience of working with high-net-worth clients/donors
• An understanding of/experience working within a fundraising context
