Senior People Partner

Job description

We are seeking a Senior People Partner to provide strategic people insight alongside high quality operational delivery across the full employee lifecycle. This is a senior, influential role, working in a complex environment and partnering closely with leaders to shape people-centred, inclusive and pragmatic solutions.

You will build strong, productive relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted adviser and constructive challenger to senior stakeholders and managers. The role encompasses a broad portfolio including complex employee relations, senior appointments, reward, workforce planning and organisation design. You will also work collaboratively with our recognised unions to support positive and effective employee relations.

As an experienced people professional, you will have operated at senior level within a comparable multi-site organisation. You will bring demonstrable experience of managing complex casework, supporting organisational change and contributing to initiatives that strengthen diversity, inclusion and belonging. You will have an in-depth understanding of UK employment and equality legislation and be confident acting as a subject matter expert, advising on best practice and risk aware decision making.

We are looking for someone with strong coaching capability and a proven track record of developing manager confidence and effectiveness. Exceptional communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.

We’re a supportive and hardworking team, working on a variety of projects. We have a ‘smarter working’ approach and encourage both on-site and remote working. Sadler’s Wells benefits include:

  • Employee Assistance Programme

  • Complementary tickets and discounts

  • Enhanced holiday and time off in lieu policy

  • Additional pay for parental and family leave subject to eligibility

We welcome all applications by 11:59pm GMT on Thursday 30 April 2026. Interviews will take place on Thursday 14 May 2026.
