    NEBOSH’s Learning Partner Quality (LPQ) team plays a key role in building and maintaining a high-quality Learning Partner network by ensuring that the Learning Partner we accredit meet our high standards.

    We are currently looking for a

    Senior Officer (Quality Assurance)to carry out the full range of accreditation-related tasks in our LPQ team.

    The role is responsible for assessing accreditation, status change, qualification, and tutor approval applications, applying clear criteria and sound judgement to determine whether they meet NEBOSH requirements. The role involves reviewing evidence, making informed decisions on approvals or rejections, and providing constructive feedback to applicants. The role also monitors Learning Partner compliance, addresses issues where standards are not being met, and works with colleagues to support consistent quality across the Learning Partner network.

    The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to evaluate evidence and sound judgement. Role holders will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with our Learning Partners, providing constructive challenge when necessary. They will be customer focused and able to work collaboratively with all teams involved in the Learning Partner life cycle, ensuring that enquiries are answered professionally and in a timely manner.

    Key accountabilities include:
    • Assess and process Learning Partner accreditation applications
      – Review evidence, apply criteria, make decisions, and provide constructive feedback.
    • Manage status change, qualification, and mode‑of‑study applications
      – Approve or reject applications, request missing evidence, and explain outcomes to Learning Partners.
    • Evaluate and approve tutor and internal assessor applications
      – Ensure applicants meet NEBOSH requirements; provide feedback for rejections.
    • Review and approve course materials and licence agreements
      – Record approvals accurately and issue contracts and licence materials following changes.
    • Monitor Learning Partner compliance
      – Track mandatory roles, licensing requirements, and international/governmental licence obligations; apply sanctions where needed.
    • Identify and address non‑compliance issues
      – Communicate with Learning Partners, action suspensions for administrative breaches, and escalate high‑risk cases appropriately.
    • Provide customer service relating to quality and accreditation
      – Resolve technical and professional queries promptly and professionally; maintain accurate internal records, including handling data in line with GDPR.
    • Support financial processes linked to accreditation
      – Generate purchase orders and handle invoicing, payments, and refunds at the correct stages.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality enhancement
      – Identify process improvements, create work instructions, support projects (including technology‑enabled change), and share knowledge with colleagues.

    • High levels of literacy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to review documentation and produce clear written feedback.
    • Ability to evaluate evidence and make sound judgements.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in customer‑focused and regulated/policy‑driven environments.
    • Knowledge of NEBOSH products/services (or ability to develop this quickly).
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
    • Understanding of quality assurance processes (ideally in relation to the accreditation of training centres).
    • Experience handling sensitive personal data in line with GDPR.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office and able to use CRM/customer service systems.
    • Ability to work in cross-company teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
    • Experience of working in an Awarding Organisation or educational environment may be an advantage.
    Working week:
    35 hours Monday – FridayWork base:

    NEBOSH’s office in Leicestershire with opportunities for hybrid working subject to business needs.
