Position Overview:

The Senior Manager EdTech is required to be a very strong technical & hands-on Experience in Technologies of AI in education space, e-learning, online assessment platforms and App development. A good understanding of LMS and App content development/integration cycle. Should be aware of relevant trends and latest technologies. Hold the digital portfolio, within the organization, for bringing innovations in digital learning, ideating for most effective solutions with a focus on acceleration to scale of edtech tools and programs that have potential to reach millions of children. They require to manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. This position will report to Director, Literacy.

Responsibilities:

Development and implementation of RtR digital products in alignment with programs:

  • Drive to achieve results for impact, build and maintaining partnerships, thinking strategically for Edtech positioning.

  • Develop/Review the Project/App architecture and structure/design for all products.

  • Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.

  • Meet with stakeholders and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress.

  • Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.

  • Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.

  • Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.

Digitisation of internal processes for improved efficiency and access to data:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that take all requirements into account.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

  • Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.

  • Advise Learning & Development Leads on optimal Learning System configurations for enrolment, scheduling, logistics practices, and roster and student activity reports.

  • Push out the courses to required audience through Prescriptive rules and tracking the completion.

  • Oversee maintenance of data integrity rules for the System’s metadata and processes (e.g., course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors).

Building the Edtech strategy in alignment with RtR approach:

  • Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the projects.

  • Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration to all departments.

  • Help team identify partners/vendors, delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end.

Identifying and implementing the innovation in Edtech:

  • Innovate and manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Proficient in handling the most complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies and designing techniques.

  • Work for literacy cloud, it’s creation, publicity and knowledge dissemination initiatives through it.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience working with e-learning platforms and online assessment systems.

  • The person should have experience in managing teams.

  • Good understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their implementation.

  • Ability to support technology-enabled learning solutions and digital education platforms.
