PAD landscapes is a high-end design studio in the heart of Brighton, creating enduring, beautiful and sustainable landscape projects that make a difference to people and planet.
We’ve a truly great opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect / Project Landscape Architect to join our friendly team and be part of some exciting and ground-breaking projects. We’re looking for an individual who can lead and independently run projects. From vibrant new public realm, botanically complex roof gardens, or one-off Grand Designs homes in the countryside, we offer variety and fresh challenges.

We are looking for passionate and talented Landscape Architect with 3-5+ years of professional experience in a design practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design and project management, with a passion for creating innovative outdoor spaces. You will lead projects from conception through to completion. Your ability to lead a team, and have expertise in various design software and your ability to manage multiple projects will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
– 3-5 years of professional experience, project running and leading the design and development of landscape architecture projects.
– Collaborate with clients and teams to create innovative designs that incorporate climate-resilience and biodiversity throughout.
– Fully adept with Sketchup, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality work. Revit experience would be an advantage.
– Manage a small team, and run projects effectively while maintaining open communication with the Practice Manager who will support you.
– Oversee the construction process, providing guidance to contractors and ensuring that the final build aligns with the proposed designs.
– Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously enhance design practices.
Requirements
– A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential.
– Proven team-leading experience in landscape architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
– Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
– A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for sustainable and ethical design practices.
