Senior Dog Welfare Assistant (Nottinghamshire)
Salary: £26,208.00 Per annum (from 1st April 2026)
Hours: 37.5hrs average per week on a 4 on + 2 off rolling rota, working 8am-5pm (to include weekends and Bank Holidays)
Location: Jerry Green Dog Rescue, Marsh Lane, Warsop Lane, Mansfield, NG21 0PG

The Senior Dog Welfare Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the centre operates smoothly each day, maintaining excellent standards of dog welfare, customer care, and team coordination. Working closely with the Centre Manager and Deputy Centre Manager, you help create a calm, professional, and supportive environment for both staff and visitors.
As a steady and confident leader within the Dog Welfare team, you uphold welfare policies, support rehoming and intake processes, and contribute to the centre’s wider operational goals. You serve as a trusted role model and mentor, offering guidance when needed and stepping into the duty manager role with assurance and professionalism.
