About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cinema Distribution Manager to join the National Theatre Digital Team. 

The Senior Cinema Distribution Manager is responsible for leading NT Live's global cinema sales & distribution strategy, driving revenue growth, audience reach and commercial performance.

The role provides strategic leadership for distribution activity, builds key exhibitor and distribution partnerships, and works closely with colleagues across Marketing, Finance, Data, Production and Operations to maximise the success and impact of NT Live releases worldwide.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Significant experience in theatrical distribution & sales, event cinema or a comparable commercial entertainment sector, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial success.

  • Strong commercial experience with experience negotiating complex agreements and managing high-value partnerships.

  • Experience leading, motivating and developing teams

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, distributors, industry bodies and senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the confidence to represent NT Live externally and internally.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using sales data, forecasting and market insights to inform strategic decision-making.
