Salary: £16:00 per hour (£30,784 per annum) plus enhanced overtime and sleep-in rate paid at £69.00 per sleep-in.
Location: Residential children’s home in DarlingtonHours: Full time

We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Care Officer to join us at our residential children’s home in Darlington. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of developmental trauma with direct experience of working with children and young people within a residential setting.
The ideal candidate will hold a level 3 diploma in children and young people and will be passionate and enthusiastic about enhancing the lives of children and young people in our care. Previous experience of leading and supervising a staff team is also essential.
As one of our Senior Residential Care Officers, you will support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle by advising, educating and promoting positive choices. It is important that your values align with those of our charity, the requirements of Ofsted and that you have integrity and a strong desire to help others.
