Senior Celebrity and Influencer Manager

Do you have experience leading celebrity and influencer partnerships and want to use that expertise to create meaningful impact?

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is looking for a Senior Celebrity & Influencer Manager to lead our talent strategy bringing the right people, stories and partnerships together to support our mission.

Working with the Head of Communications, you’ll shape a proactive and creative approach that builds fame, trust and fundraising impact while delivering thoughtful, well-managed experiences for patients, families and NHS staff in a complex and sensitive environment.

You’ll play a key role in connecting high-profile talent to our cause in a way that feels authentic, inclusive and carefully managed and balancing creativity with responsibility in a complex and sensitive environment.

Salary

The salary for this role is £51,000 and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the celebrity and influencer strategy, ensuring it supports brand, income, patient experience and hospital priorities.
  • Lead and evolve our ambassador programme, including recruitment, stewardship and long-term relationship planning.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with celebrities, agents, publicists and managers, creating partnerships that deliver mutual value.
  • Create compelling ideas, briefs and opportunities that engage talent and bring our work to life in distinctive and meaningful ways.
  • Evolve the function from reactive requests to a more proactive, strategic approach.
  • Work closely with Marcomms to translate talent partnerships into high-quality campaigns, content and moments.
  • Work closely with Philanthropy, Special Events and Fundraising teams to ensure talent supports key income and cultivation opportunities.
  • Ensure a diverse and representative portfolio of talent, broadening reach and reflecting the communities we serve.
  • Provide clear governance and guidance for working with talent and creators, ensuring activity is safe, appropriate and aligned with hospital protocols.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering strategic insight, sound judgement and a calm approach in high-profile or sensitive situations.
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performing team.
  • Ensure all activity meets governance, safeguarding and reputational standards, providing clear guidance to stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Significant experience leading celebrity and influencer activity at a senior level, either in-house or agency.
  • Strong network across talent and agents with a track record of building relationships that deliver impact.
  • Experience managing high-profile partnerships with strong judgement and attention to risk and reputation.
  • Previous experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ideas into effective delivery.
  • Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and lead high-stakes conversations with confidence and professionalism.

At Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, we help the hospital go above and beyond for seriously ill children, enabling kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses, and making hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun for the thousands of children who are treated at GOSH every year. Our staff raise vital funds to support ground-breaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, and the creation of child-centred facilities to help save more young lives, and essential support services that help save childhoods too.
