Join us in helping veterans and their families live well after service.

At Help for Heroes, we believe every veteran deserves to feel valued, supported, and part of a community that cares. Our brand is central to that mission — it’s how we show up in the world, tell powerful stories, drive action, and build a nationwide movement of support.

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager who can take this mission even further. Someone who brings strategic clarity, creative ambition, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.

About the Role

As our new Senior Brand Manager, you’ll lead the strategic development of the Help for Heroes brand - shaping how we show up across the country and ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and compelling.

You’ll guide the evolution of our brand positioning, oversee major integrated campaigns, and work with partners and teams across the charity to embed brand thinking into everything we do. You’ll also lead and mentor a talented Brand and Services Marketing team, helping them do the best work of their careers.

What you’ll do

Own the brand strategy: evolve positioning, consistency and relevance across every channel and audience.

Lead major campaigns: oversee creative development and delivery across paid, owned and earned, ensuring everything ladders up to the brand.

Drive measurement: set the brand health framework; commission and interpret research to optimise performance.

Partner and influence: collaborate across Marketing, Comms, Digital and more; manage external creative and media agencies.

Coach the team: line‑manage Brand and Services Marketing Managers and support their teams to build a supportive, high‑performing culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant B2C brand marketing experience with a track record in strategy and integrated campaign leadership.
  • Confidence with insight and analytics to guide decisions and prove impact.
  • Stakeholder savvy and top‑tier communication — including writing clear, inspiring briefs, and delivering inspiring presentations.
  • Experience leading and developing marketers and brand managers.
  • Not for Profit sector experience and understanding of the Armed Forces community are a plus.

About the Team

This role sits within our Brand and Marketing Team at Help for Heroes, working closely with our in‑house creative specialists to bring our brand to life across every channel. In this role you will line‑manage Brand and Services Marketing Managers and support their teams to build a supportive, high‑performing culture.

In return we can offer you:

  • Belonging to a team who make a difference to our community and value equality, diversity and inclusion.

  • 29 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, regardless of service -plus your birthday off to celebrate!

  • Opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days annual leave per year.

  • Added to our free health scheme from day one, including discounts on dental, opticians, massages, and more - with the option to upgrade.

  • 3 volunteer days per year to support the Help for Heroes community.

  • A generous salary sacrifice pension scheme with an 8% employer contribution and a minimum 3% employee contribution, plus life insurance up to 4× salary as an active member.

Closing date: 12th April 2026

Please note: We may close this vacancy early should we receive a high volume of strong applications.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all backgrounds.

About Us

Help for Heroes believes those who serve our country deserve support when they’re wounded. Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. The Charity helps them, and their families, to recover and get on with their lives. It has already supported more than 26,500 people and won’t stop until every wounded veteran gets the support they deserve.
