Senior Alcohol Recovery Co-ordinator
Join Phoenix Futures as a full time Senior HIU Recovery Co-ordinator, providing targeted, person-centred support to individuals who frequently present to A&E in crisis due to alcohol use and associated multiple, complex needs. Working closely with hospital teams and community services, you’ll deliver timely, trauma-informed interventions that promote stabilisation, safety and reduced crisis presentations.
What you’ll do
- Work with hospital professionals to identify, assess and engage people appropriate to the service.
- Provide intensive outreach support, delivering evidence-based alcohol harm-reduction interventions and relapse-prevention strategies.
- Provide information, guidance and support to families, carers and loved ones.
What we’re looking for
- Experience supporting people with multiple, complex needs (e.g., substance use, mental health, physical health and/or housing needs).
- Experience navigating health, substance use and mental health pathways, with confidence in signposting and advocacy.
- Strong partnership working and multi-agency liaison skills.
