In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of the Seeds to Trees Project, providing new evidence-based guidance and training products to increase the quality, quantity and diversity of tree planting material in the UK. You will work with stakeholders in Kew, Defra and the tree production industry to understand training needs within the sector and develop new training and guidance products, including an online tree seed collecting training module, in-person training events and updates to existing published guidance on tree production from seed.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge of seeds, experience of developing or delivering training materials and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively to have a real impact on future woodlands across the UK. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and planning skills and be able to collate, interpret and present information from a diverse range of sources including Kew databases and the scientific and technical literature.

The salary for this position is £39,243 pro rata per annum [Band D]
