About the role

As the festive season approaches, Ripple Effect is buzzing with excitement, with our much-anticipated Christmas fundraising and gift catalogue. To ensure we deliver outstanding support and customer service during this busy time, we’re seeking two Seasonal Supporter Engagement Assistants to join our team in the centre of Bath.

In this role, you’ll be essential in helping our fundraising efforts run smoothly by processing and despatching gift orders and thank you letters, adding donations in our database, managing mail, handling phone enquiries, maintaining accurate supporter records, and most importantly thanking our generous supporters for their contributions.

You will play a vital role in contributing to Ripple Effect's meaningful work, helping transform the lives of farming families in rural Africa. If you’re ready to be part of a team that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!

About you

As a Seasonal Supporter Engagement Assistant, you will have administration experience and a desire to work effectively as part of a team within a busy and active working environment.

You will also have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Experience with data entry and using computer systems
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective time management, capable of prioritising and managing a full workload within specified timeframes.
  • Strong teamwork skills, while also being self-motivated and independent when required.
  • A polite and professional phone manner, even while multitasking.
  • Quick learner, able to perform assigned tasks confidently and competently.
  • Ability to work with high quantities of data.
  • Efficient, methodical, and precise in handling tasks.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude, displaying a willingness to take on challenges.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying work demands.
