PMLL is looking for Schools Outreach Officers to join its existing outreach team and support a nationwide school engagement and data collection programme during the 2026/27 academic year.

The School Outreach Officers play a vital role in raising awareness of the Schools Printed Music Licence (SPML) and helping schools understand how copyrighted music can be used legally within classroom and extracurricular music activities.

Working across an assigned geographical region (London, Birmingham or Wales), you will engage directly with schools, build relationships with key contacts and support the collection of data relating to the use of printed music under the SPML. The role combines outreach, relationship management, stakeholder engagement and data collection, requiring a confident communicator who can work independently and build credibility with education professionals.

Contract, Location, Hours & Pay

PMLL is proposing to conduct this programme during the 2026/27 academic year. The roles are therefore particularly suitable for individuals seeking term-time working arrangements, although fixed-term appointments can also be considered.

Wales Schools Outreach Officer

  • Part-time – 1.5 days per week (up to 9 hours per week)

Pay: £180 per day plus approved travel expenses.

Welsh language skills (spoken and written) would be advantageous for the Wales post.

The role is largely field-based and flexible. As many school meetings take place outside the school day, successful candidates will be trusted to manage their own schedules to achieve agreed objectives.
