Sales and Hires Coordinator (1728)

Are you experienced in venue, event hire and income generation? Do you have a collaborative, cross departmental approach to work? Are you highly organised, detail driven and financially savvy? Do you have a strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering outstanding experiences?

We are looking for a competent Sales and Hires Coordinator to drive income and deliver exceptional space hire at the RSC. In this newly created role, you will establish the effective operation, promotion and coordination of venue hires, weddings and hospitality sales. Working harmoniously across a variety of departments and teams, this role exists to ensure that every hire and event – from corporate functions to RSC commissioned hires are delivered to the highest standards.

Key areas of responsibility include (please see the Role Profile for the comprehensive list):

  • Promoting RSC hire space and packages to corporate, private and community clients
  • Generating new business leads and nurturing relationships with clients
  • Preparing quotations, proposals, negotiations and contract generation
  • Collaboration and coordination of logistics with teams and clients
  • Leading on-the-day event operations as the main client contact
  • Compliance with health & safety, licensing and safeguarding regulations.
  • Monitoring sales targets and event budgets – ensuring profitability
  • Maintaining client records, invoicing, reporting managing bookings

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Commercial awareness– proactive approach to identifying and developing new income opportunities
  • An organised approachand a sharpeye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skillsand the ability towork as part of a team
  • Financial acumen– able to plan, forecast and monitor financial performance
  • A customer focusedapproach and confidence to deliver in a fast paced anddeadline drivenenvironment.
  • The ability to find imaginative solutionswithin a dynamic, creative environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Stratford-upon-Avon.

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
