We have a new opportunity for a Safety, Health, Environment and Energy Coordinator to join our fantastic SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) team here at RBL on a 18 months fixed term basis.

This newly created role will see you as the key support for our busy SHEQ team, coordinating the delivery of function, including administration and technical guidance for all health and safety, energy and utilities activity across our organisation.

Reporting to our Head of Safety, Health Environment and Quality, key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the Mailbox and answer risk queries and concerns, knowing when to escalate complex requests 
  • Provide a point of contact and resolution for day-to-day energy enquiries for RBL
  • Maintain an Estate wide energy consumption and cost database across all assets 
  • Manage the administrative requirements for the H&S Software management system, maintaining user information, creating and setting privileges, designing and running reports
  • Coordinate the H&S Committees Consultation and Assurance maintaining action log, preparing meeting agendas and updating minutes
  • Coordinate the management and delivery of training, including creating training calendar
  • Design, develop and deliver the reports available from systems to support the Head of SHEQ with providing management information to the business including Board of Trustees, Executive Board and Directors

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest to use previous experience in this field to continue their career in the SHEQ space within an established and successful team.

You will have demonstrable experience working in the Health and Safety field, with general knowledge of the Energy industry and will hold the Health and Safety Managing Safely qualification. You will have good knowledge and statutory SHE requirements, codes of conduct and guidance. And you will have excellent planning and administration skills, with an ability to engage and communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there, with occasional travel (incl. for monthly team meetings and during induction to visit a range of RBL sites).
