Safeguarding Operations Lead

The Safeguarding Operations Lead provides senior operational oversight of safeguarding across CISV’s global network, ensuring policies are consistently applied, incidents are managed effectively, and safeguarding risks are actively monitored. This role supervises case management and serves as the organisation’s operational authority for safeguarding compliance and serious incident management.

What you’ll do

• Overseeing global safeguarding case management and supervising Safeguarding Case Managers
• Managing serious incidents and ensuring safeguarding risks are tracked and mitigated through the organisational Risk Register
• Monitoring safeguarding compliance across associations and chapters and escalating risks to senior leadership

What we’re looking for

• Senior safeguarding professional with substantial experience in child protection and incident management
• Proven leadership experience supervising case managers and handling complex safeguarding cases
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding regulations, risk management, and working within global or volunteer-led organisations
