Safeguarding Case Manager

The Safeguarding Case Manager leads end-to-end safeguarding case management across CISV’s global network, ensuring timely, proportionate, and survivor-centred responses. This role provides responsive support to programmes and volunteers worldwide, balancing child protection, organisational duty of care, and fairness.
What you’ll do
- Receiving, triaging, and managing safeguarding concerns from initial report through resolution
- Coordinating multi-agency responses and liaising with National Associations, Chapter Risk Managers, and statutory bodies where required
- Identifying trends and contributing to continuous improvement of safeguarding policies, training, and systems
What we’re looking for
- Substantial experience in safeguarding, child protection, social work, or complex case management roles
- Fluency in English plus Spanish or Portuguese (preferred)
- Strong judgement, intercultural competence, and the ability to remain calm and clear in high-pressure situations
