RETAIL TEAM MEMBER (WRAP BAR)
Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit Retail Team Members to join our Retail team at our King’s Buildings Wrap Bar.
Edinburgh University Students’ Association is an award-winning organisation, which exists to provide diverse services, representation, and welfare support to the community of over 49,500 students at the University of Edinburgh. We have five venues around the University of Edinburgh campus – Teviot, King’s Buildings House, Potterrow, the Pleasance and Edinburgh College of Art’s Wee Red Bar – which house our offices, cafés, bars, clubs, spaces for students to meet, study and socialise. These spaces transform into some of the most well loved Edinburgh Festival Fringe venues throughout the month of August each year.

Join our friendly team at KB Wrap Bar, one of the University of Edinburgh Students' Association's busiest food outlets. As a Retail Team Member, you'll prepare fresh wraps and other menu items, serve customers, operate tills, maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards, and help create a welcoming experience for students, staff and visitors. This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and is comfortable working in a busy food environment. Flexible hours are available across weekdays.
Salary: £13.45 per hour, plus a generous benefits package:
- Holiday paid at 15.55% in January, April, July and September

To prepare and serve high-quality fresh food and beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced university environment. The role supports the commercial success of Edinburgh University Students' Association by maintaining excellent standards of food safety, product quality, cleanliness and customer service, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, efficient and enjoyable experience.
The Person:
An enthusiastic, customer-focused team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced food and retail environment. They take pride in preparing and serving high-quality products, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, cleanliness and teamwork. They are reliable, adaptable and committed to creating a positive experience for every customer.
