Autism Initiatives is a registered charity providing specialist autism services, tailored to each individual. We are seeking to recruit friendly and dedicated Support Workers to join us at our new Birchlea Community Resource Centre and Outreach Hub based in Netherley, Liverpool. This Centre will provide a flexible, seven-day-a-week support service designed to meet the diverse needs of autistic individuals and their families.

We are looking for people who would be interested in making a difference to the lives of adult autistic people. Ideally you would have a background or understanding of supporting people with autism, but if not don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.

We have full time and part time positions available due to our growing services and we are also happy to talk about flexible working that might suit you.

A little more about the role:

You will support autistic adults in a safe, supportive environment that offers a wide range of bespoke activities, resources and opportunities for social interaction and skill development.

As a Resource Centre Support Worker, you will also deliver personalised support that is tailored to individual needs, that encourage community access and participation in activities of their choice.

Our Resource Centre will also offer flexible respite options for families and caregivers and provide specialised support that will assist young people in developing life skills.
