About this job

Responsibilities include:

  • Clerical and typing support within the Resource Centre. To participate as a member of the area team to achieve UNISON objectives.
  • To manage time effectively and prioritise workload to achieve UNISON objectives
  • To liaise with team members on implementation of work priorities.
  • To assist in the development and maintenance of links with UNISON branches and members
  • To assist in the provision of advice and help with enquiries concerning UNISON services.

You must have:

  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • IT proficiency in O365
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise work, be flexible and operate well in a team
  • Ability to operate office machinery (photocopier, printer, franker, enveloping machine etc)

Applicants should have good oral and written communications skills, work in a team setting, knowledge of administrative systems and equipment and be familiar with IT systems.
