    We’re opening a new 4-bed trauma-informed children’s home in Pleasley – and we are looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team. At Homes2Inspire, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where young lives can thrive. Reporting to Senior Support Workers, you’ll provide consistent care, emotional support, and everyday guidance - helping children build brighter futures.

    The RoleAs a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a key part of a close-knit team supporting children who have experienced trauma - helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where growth is possible. Your role will be hands-on, emotionally intelligent, and deeply rewarding, requiring empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to reflective practice.     You’ll be responsible for:

    • Supporting daily routines, activities, and emotional well-being
    • Managing and de-escalating challenging situations with empathy
    • Encouraging independence, education, and life skills
    • Being a trusted role model - showing patience, resilience, and compassion
    • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment

    What We’re Looking For:Essential:
    • Willingness to work towards a QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare
    • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep in duties + overtime
    • Full UK driving licence
    Desirable:
    • Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing
