Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney is looking for a compassionate and motivated Resettlement Coordinator to provide consistent, person-centred and trauma-informed support to residents as they prepare to move from supported accommodation into independent or shared housing.

This is an exciting opportunity to help people make a successful transition to independent living, providing practical guidance, emotional support and tailored planning every step of the way.

As Resettlement Coordinator, you will:

  • Support residents to prepare for and sustain independent tenancies, helping to prevent repeat homelessness.
  • Provide housing advice and guidance, including information about benefits and housing options.
  • Identify and coordinate support for additional needs, including mental health, wellbeing and addiction services.
  • Develop personalised resettlement plans that build confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external agencies to ensure residents receive the support they need.
  • Help refine and develop Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney’s resettlement programme, contributing to a best practice model over a three-year period.

Emmaus is a unique charity supporting people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Across the UK, there are 29 Emmaus communities, stretching from Glasgow to Dover and Norfolk to South Wales. Together, the Emmaus Federation supports more than 1,000 people with experience of homelessness by providing a home, work opportunities and tailored support.
