Research Assistant

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a relevant discipline, such as Architecture, Building Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or a closely related field.

Postgraduate researcher (PhD level, or currently working towards a PhD) are particularly welcome to apply as this role may suit the skills developed over your studies.

They will have an interest in or experience with environmental monitoring, building performance, or indoor environmental quality, and be comfortable supporting data collection using non-intrusive sensors. Experience working on applied or impact-driven research projects, particularly those involving collaboration with external partners or communities, would be advantageous.

 
The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
