Our Vacancy

Repairs Analyst

At Peabody, we're transforming the way we use data to improve our repairs service, and we're looking for a Repairs Analyst who can help us ask better questions and make better decisions.

If you're naturally curious, enjoy challenging assumptions, and can turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, this is an opportunity to make a real impact on services delivered to thousands of residents.

You'll work with operational, commercial and customer data, partnering with teams across the business to help shape decisions, drive efficiencies and deliver a better repairs service for our residents.

What you'll be doing

  • Analysing repairs, operational and commercial performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing insightful Power BI dashboards, reports and data products that support decision-making across the business.
  • Turning complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that influence both strategic and day-to-day operational decisions.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into meaningful analytical solutions.
  • Challenging existing processes and performance trends through data-led investigation and insight.
  • Supporting commercial decision-making, efficiency initiatives and value-for-money improvements through analysis and modelling.
  • Helping to automate reporting, improve data quality and strengthen data governance practices.

What you’ll need

We're looking for someone who enjoys asking questions, solving problems and using data to drive real-world change.

You'll have:

  • Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence or performance reporting roles.
  • Advanced skills using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar and SQL skills, with the ability to build robust reporting solutions and explore data independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage, influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • A naturally curious and analytical mindset, with a desire to understand root causes rather than simply report results.
  • The ability to turn complex data into compelling stories, practical recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams across the business.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience within social housing, repairs or a similar operational environment is desirable
