Sense are looking for reliable and motivated Relief support workers to join our professional team at our Supported Living Service in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, working varied shift hours- morning, evening, weekends and nights, paying £13.00 per hour.
You don’t need any previous experience to become a relief support worker with Sense, as we’ll give you full training for this role.
At this service, we provide support to 8 individuals who either have autism, deafblindness or sensory/complex disabilities. Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable (or willingness to learn).
As a Relief support worker, you will be taking part in a range of activities with the individuals and some who attend the Sense day centre and college from full support to independent prompts. Role requires DBS check.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Assisting with personal care, medication, and wellbeing
- Helping manage finances and encouraging independence
- Getting out into the community for shopping, activities, and social life
Who we're looking for:

- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- A good communicator and listener
- Flexible and reliable across varied shifts
- Passionate about enhancing other people's lives
- Willing to attend training to support you in your role
- Care or support work experience is desirable
- BSL skills and knowledge of multi-sensory impairments or learning difficulties are beneficial
