Relief Female Support Workers provide a highly valued source of support across our services, helping to cover short or long term planned and unplanned absences. As a member of our relief pool, you’ll play a key role in supporting people with complex needs to live independently in their own homes, or to attend their activities and stay connected to their communities.
Flexibility that works for you
As a Relief Female Support Worker, you can share your availability and preferences in advance so managers can plan effectively and match your strengths, skills and interests. You can also let us know if you’re available at short notice—every hour of support makes a meaningful difference. Whatever your availability, your contribution matters.

Welcome to Tulloch Hill
Our service consists of three adjoining bungalows, home to six individuals, with two people living in each house. At the heart of the service is a shared lounge and kitchen where everyone comes together to socialise, enjoy activities, share meals, and have fun. There's also a beautiful communal garden that is enjoyed throughout the year.

What you'll be doing
As a Female Relief Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping people live life their way one shift at a time. You'll provide tailored support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Helping with meal preparation and household activities
- Supporting individuals with complex needs, including epilepsy and PICA awareness
- Encouraging independence and building confidence in everyday life skills
- Supporting people to enjoy hobbies, activities, and community outings
- Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment every day
Shift patterns
Our team work a range of shifts via a flexible rota system. Typical shifts look like;
- Early Shift: 7:30am - 3:00pm
- Late Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Night Shift: 10:00pm - 8:00am
