Rehoming Support Assistant

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to make a real difference?

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Rehoming central services team as a Rehoming Support Assistant. This is a part time role working 25 hours per week.

What does this role do?

As Rehoming Support Assistant, you will:

  • Manage the Rehoming Support team inbox, responding to rehoming questions and queries from colleagues in the organisation, triaging and escalating issues within the Rehoming department as appropriate.
  • Assist with the arrangement and delivery of Rehoming department events and meetings as required, enabling teams to share best practice throughout the year. Responsible for raising purchase requisitions and actioning goods receipts as required.
  • Provide administrative assistance to Rehoming Support colleagues as required to support both the improvement of existing processes in rehoming centres and the transition of pilot programmes into business-as-usual ways of working.
  • Provide support to the Rehoming Support Officers, Rehoming Support Manager and Rehoming Senior Management Team as required.

Could this be you?

As a skilled administrator, you will have experience supporting multiple teams in a fast paced environment. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively. You will have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be a strong team player with a good understanding and experience of writing for different audiences and speaking with a wide range of colleagues and customers.

Please note, this is a hybrid working role which can be based at either a local rehoming centre to you (£18,450) or in London head office (£19,767).
