About the Role
MAP is seeking a Rehabilitation Supervisor to oversee and support physiotherapy services across MAP-supported MoH rehabilitation facilities in Gaza. The role includes supervising physiotherapists to ensure quality standards, providing technical support and on-the-job training, and leading capacity-building initiatives to improve service delivery and patient outcomes. The Supervisor will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation services, while ensuring proper documentation, effective use of assistive devices, and strong coordination across teams.
About You
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physical Therapy and a valid license to practice in Gaza, with strong experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, including supervisory roles, preferably in emergency contexts. They demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in capacity building, staff training, and mentoring. A solid understanding of multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches, evidence-based interventions, assistive devices, and the rights of persons with disabilities is essential, as well as familiarity with international humanitarian standards such as Sphere and the Core Humanitarian Standard. The candidate should have strong organisational and documentation skills, be fluent in English and Arabic, and possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with the flexibility to travel across Gaza and a strong commitment to MAP’s values and safeguarding principles.
