Registry Administrator (Oban)
UHI Argyll offer further and higher education in one of the most geographically fragmented areas of Scotland. We are an academic partner of UHI. The university operates through a partnership of twelve colleges and research institutions, located throughout Argyll, the Highlands and Islands, Moray and Perthshire.
To support our work we are recruiting to the following role:
Registry Administrator (Oban)
Salary range £27,022 Duration Temporary (1-Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover) Working hours Full Time Location Oban Closing Date Monday 9th March 2026 (9am)We are recruiting a full time Registry Administrator to cover maternity leave in our small Registry team, based in our Oban Campus. You will work with student records, administering further and higher education student enrolment and course data in line with awarding body and Qualifications Scotland requirements. The job requires a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be trained in the use of the specialist registry software – prior knowledge or experience is desirable but not required. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately and fast under pressure and have very good IT skills. Confidentiality is essential.
The successful applicant will be subject to an application to join Disclosure Scotland Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
