We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our warm, skilled, and highly supportive team at Willow Court, our 19-bed residential nursing service located on our main site in Mirfield. Willow Court provides specialised, person-centred care with a strong focus on dignity, communication, independence, and meaningful experiences for the people who live there.

About Hollybank Trust

Hollybank Trust is a long‑established charity providing high-quality education, residential care, therapy services and enrichment activities for children, young people, and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities. We focus on ability, not disability, and celebrate the unique strengths of every individual. Across our residential services – including ten homes designed for highly specialised needs – we are proud of our reputation for excellence and of our commitment to creating happy, safe, and loving environments. Willow Court is our dedicated nursing home, providing round‑the‑clock care for adults with highly complex needs.

  • Support, guide, and supervise support staff to deliver excellent standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, quality assurance processes, and evidence‑based practice.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse status: RN1/RNA (Adult Nursing), RNLD (Learning Disability Nursing), or equivalent, with a current NMC PIN.
  • Experience of working in a person‑centred, compassionate care environment.
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating care programmes.
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Ability to use clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice.
  • Willingness to work on a shared rota, that includes nights and weekends.
  • A proactive, positive, and resilient approach to care.
  • A full clean driving licence (or willingness to drive Trust vehicles).

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in administering medication via gastrostomy, deep/oral suctioning, and working with physically or cognitively disabled adults.
  • Experience in a care home environment.
