Relevant qualification at level 3/4 or above in Social Care, Health Care or Community WorkA/I
A good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English)A/I
Counselling qualification or skils gained through active practiceA/I
Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and the work undertaken by WAIL to support and empower women to move forward after fleeing from abusive relationshipsA/I
Knowledge of interventions which may be used to support women with domestic violence, substance misuse, alcohol dependency and/or mental ill health. Knowledge of Person-Centered and Trauma Informed Work Practices.A/I A/I
Recent and Relevant Experience:EDMethod of Assessment
Demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable individuals and/or families that may have experienced domestic abuse, homelessness, sexual exploitation, or mental health issues.A/I
Helping vulnerable people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of change.A/I
Managing complex and dificult situations in relation to people.A/I
Liaising with and coordinating the work of a number of individuals and/or agencies to achieve effective outcomesA/I
Experience of working in a multi-agency environment, particularly in relation to the provision of services to those affected by homelessness, substance misuse, alcohol dependency and/or mental ill healthA/I
