Landmarks is an independent specialist day college for young people with learning disabilities and difficulties. The college offers a wide range of programmes that are tailored to each individual’s needs. Landmarks operates from several sites across; Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, with our main site located in Eckington, S21 4EF. Landmarks has several satellite provisions in Rotherham, Nottingham city Centre and a “real- life” hospitality and catering facilitate in Rainworth, Mansfield. These environments enable us to provide a range of personal and vocational training opportunities including: § Agriculture § Animal Studies § Arboriculture § Art § Business Administration § Conservation § Duke of Edinburgh § Equine Studies § Floristry Independent Travel Training Independent Living Skills § Horticulture § Hospitality & Catering § § § Labouring (CSCS) § Retail § Supported Internships § Wildlife Management § Work Experience Our staff are required to work on a range of different sites, including; college campuses, employer’s premises or communities local to your learners home - therefore willingness to travel is essential. There may be a requirement to transport learners in your own car, Page 1 insurance implications are reimbursed. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working day. Main Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to: • Drive enrolment growth by proactively identifying and converting prospective learners using a mix of sales and marketing strategies. • Use a multi-channel sales approach, including cold calling, email marketing, networking, and in-person visits to generate new applicants. • Deliver engaging college tours across our five sites—Eckington, Rotherham, Nottingham, Mansfield, and Dronfield—to provide prospective learners and their families with an in-depth understanding of our offering. • Maximise conversion rates by effectively guiding applicants through the admissions journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. • Build and maintain relationships with schools, local authorities, and external partners to create strong referrals. • Respond to incoming enquiries from prospective learners and families, providing detailed information about the college. • Deliver persuasive presentations and tours, showcasing the benefits of the college and addressing individual needs and concerns. • Collaborate with marketing to develop and refine recruitment campaigns, ensuring they effectively engage the right audience. • Represent the college at events and fairs, proactively engaging with potential learners and their families. English and Maths (Level 2 or equivalent). Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in sales, student recruitment, or learner admissions. Promote a positive working environment. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple applications and outreach activities effectively. Communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) at all levels e.g. learners, staff, parents, visitors Establish and maintain good professional relationships with learners, parents/carers and colleagues. Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Databases). Target driven mindset. Confident.
